The Detroit Red Wings and Chevrolet are proud to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. In addition to hosting the annual Military Appreciation Night, both active and veteran service members are recognized at every home game for their service and sacrifice to our community and country through our Salute to Service, presented by Chevrolet.

The Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and Meijer team up each year to deliver the Hometown Holiday Assist for children in the Detroit community. Children from organizations like Detroit Police Athletic League, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, Clark Park Coalition, and Downtown Boxing Gym have had the opportunity to do their holiday shopping with Detroit Red Wings and Tigers players in this seasonal giveback event.
