At each New York Islanders home game this season the Islanders will honor and host an active military member or veteran as part of the Military Hero of the Game. Each military hero receives four (4) VIP tickets to the game and a special in-game recognition.

We have received nominations of veterans in the community deserving of the Built Ford Tough Military Tribute. At the end of the regular season, one lucky veteran will receive a brand-new Ford Truck.
The Islanders have hosted three military baby showers, partnering with Operation Shower, as well as Ryan, LLC, to give gifts to expecting military families.
