Reinhart Stanley Cup workout

Sam Reinhart was up in the gym working on his fitness and the Stanley Cup was his witness.

The Florida Panthers forward trained with the trophy during his day with the Cup in Vancouver on Monday.

In a video posted to social media, Reinhart used the Stanley Cup as his weight while he pushed it on a training sled and performed bench presses.

After every bench press, the veteran forward made sure to kiss the 34.5-pound trophy.

Once the duo was done working out, Reinhart brought the trophy to the West Vancouver fire department that helped put a fire out at his house that the forward accidentally started as a child according to North Shore News. The two-time Stanley Cup champion posed for pictures with the fire crew and sported a fire helmet.

On Tuesday, Reinhart and the Cup visited patients at BC Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

The Panthers forward also brought Lord Stanley on a public boat parade on West Vancouver Centennial Seawalk. They then met West Vancouver mayor Mark Sager.

Looks like Reinhart and the Stanley Cup got their cardio in running around Vancouver this week.
