In conjunction with the National Hockey League, the Chicago Blackhawks today announced the team’s regular-season schedule for the 2025-26 season, presented by Circa Sports. For the eighth consecutive season, Chicago will kick off the regular season on the road as the team travels to Sunrise, Florida to take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The Blackhawks open the home portion of the schedule with an Original Six matchup against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, Oct. 11. The 2025-26 schedule also features 11 home games in the month of January, matching the most home games in a single month of the season in Blackhawks history (11 home games in March 2009).

Additionally, the schedule features a 21-day break from Feb. 5 – 25 due to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, marking the first time NHL players are participating in the Olympics since the 2014 Games in Sochi.

SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS

ALWAYS AN ORIGINAL

The Chicago Blackhawks are set to celebrate the organization’s Centennial during the 2025-26 campaign, weaving together a century of storied tradition throughout the yearlong celebration. Fans can expect unmissable gameday and digital experiences celebrating the team’s legendary alumni, iconic championship teams and other unforgettable moments throughout this milestone season.

WEEKEND WARRIORS

The Blackhawks schedule includes 20 weekend home games (Friday through Sunday) during the 2025-26 campaign, including seven on Friday, five on Saturday and eight on Sunday.

HOMEWARD BOUND

The Blackhawks’ longest homestand of the 2025-26 seasons is four games, which will occur on four separate occasions. The first two come in November from Nov. 12 – 20 and Nov. 23 – 30 before a four-game homestand from Jan. 12 – 19. The team also closes out the season with four-straight games at United Center from April 9 – 15.

TRAVEL PLANS

The Blackhawks hit the road for a season-high six-game road trip from Oct. 30 – Nov. 9, marking the team’s longest road trip since the 2020-21 season when the club also played six-straight road games (March 9 – 20, 2021).

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

The team’s schedule for 2025-26 includes several home contests around the holidays, including games two games surrounding Thanksgiving on Nov. 26th (vs. Minnesota) and Nov. 28th (vs. Nashville). Additionally, the Blackhawks host Philadelphia on Dec. 23rd before the NHL’s holiday break (Dec. 24 – 26), as well as games on Dec. 28 against Pittsburgh, Dec. 30 against the Islanders and a New Years Day matchup against Dallas.

GRAND CENTRAL

The Blackhawks will play a total of 26 games against Central Division foes in 2025-26. Of the 26, the club will play four games (two home/two road) against Minnesota, Nashville, St. Louis, Utah and Winnipeg, while it will play three games against Colorado (two home/one road) and Dallas (one home/two road).

19 RETURNS

The Blackhawks will host the Winnipeg Jets on Monday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m., marking former captain Jonathan Toews’s first game back at the United Center since his return to the NHL. The team will also host the Jets on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Following the team’s Home Opener, the Blackhawks Centennial celebration will unfold across four distinctive chapters that immerse fans of all ages in the rich heritage that has defined the franchise, all designed to transport in-arena attendees and at-home fans through the defining eras in Blackhawks history. Each chapter will include signature game nights, a series of fan-favorite bobbleheads and giveaways, untold stories through rare archival memorabilia, exclusive interviews and content with the iconic figures who defined that period and more.

The 2025-26 Blackhawks promotional schedule inclusive of this upcoming season’s Centennial theme nights, giveaways and other special promotions will be released in the coming weeks, with single-game tickets anticipated to go on sale later this summer.
