Bennett SWS

You can learn a lot about someone by looking at the posters hanging on the wall of their childhood bedroom.

If you need to learn anything about Sam Bennett, look no further than there.

On Wednesday, while on a trip home to Holland Landing, Ontario, with the Stanley Cup, the Florida Panthers center posed for a photo in front of one of those childhood posters, which happened to be of the Cup.

In the photo, Bennett is holding the real Cup, of course.

This past season marked the second consecutive Stanley Cup victory for Bennett and the Panthers.

The first stop on this year’s trip for the Conn Smythe Trophy winner was Southlake Regional Health Centre in nearby Newmarket, Ontario, to share the Cup with the patients.

Later on, Bennett took the Cup out on the water, going wakeboarding in Muskoka, Ontario.

He even got to take the Cup to his grandma for her to check it out.

Quite literally a dream come true for the 29-year-old. Just imagine what his 10-year-old self would think.
