Sharks to give away Celebrini, Smith sleepover bobblehead on Opening Night

The San Jose Sharks are not sleeping on their Opening Night giveaway.

On Thursday, the team revealed fans will receive a bobblehead of Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith’s viral sleepover with teammate Tyler Toffoli before their first game of the season on Oct. 9 against the Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center.

The bobblehead features the young Sharks forwards laying in their hotel beds with “San Jose Sharks” written on the headboard and “The future is teal” written on the base.

Sharks fans will have the opportunity to complete the sleepover set with a Toffoli bobblehead at the Sharks Foundation booth during the game.

Toffoli’s bobblehead fits at the base of the Celebrini and Smith bobbleheads to complete the remake of their viral Instagram picture.

Last season, the three teammates had a sleepover after the then rookies made a bet with Toffoli that if all three forwards scored in the game against the Buffalo Sabres, the veteran had to sleep in their hotel room.

All three players scored a goal in the Sharks’ 6-2 win against the Sabres at KeyBank Center on March 4.

Toffoli shared the sleepover picture to his Instagram account with the caption “reporting for duty” the next day.

Talk about an iconic slumber party.
